Beef Dumpling

Assalamualaikum

Lama tak update. Inilah jadinya bila kemaruk nak jalan-jalan ajer dengan kawan-kawan..haha actually lately ni pon mood nk memasak dah down sikit..sebab asyik keluar spend masa dengan kawan-kawan..jadi banyak makan dekat luar jugak..kalau masak pon..lauk harian yang biasa 2 aje..oven tuh dah berdebu dah..punye la lama tinggal kan...

Anyway, few weeks ago, after a whole day of outing at Namsan Tower with Mamas, Wear and Azmizal; Mamas suggested four of us to have dinner at a dumpling restaurant, Shinpo Woori Mandu at MyeongDong. First time makan dumpling dekat situ..makan Shrimp Mandu@Dumpling...sangat sedapppp..balik tuh pon still drooling lagi...nk makan mandu lagi walaupun dah makan sampai kenyang..So, a few days ago I decided to make mandu at home! After searching at naver.com, I stumbled across this one simple recipe, with pictures of the ingredients but with no exact measurement. So, agak2 ikut taste sendiri jugak lah...Here is the recipe!

Ingredients:

Dumpling Wrapper

Filling:
Ground beef
Tofu (mashed)
Chinese chives(minced thinly)
Garlic (minced)
Onion (diced)
Salt to taste
Added: Spring Onion (minced thinly)

How to make:

Combine all the filling ingredients in a bowl. Stir until it well incorporated. Then stuff a spoonful of the filling in the wrapper and then fold the wrapper into half (like making curry puff). After that, use water to glue the edge of the wrapper. Pinch the edge of the wrapper to finish it.
Fry or steam the dumpling! Yummy!

Gune cili sos jer utk dipping..malas nk search :D:D orang malas selalu rugi kan? kan?

Walaupon resipi die simpe aje compared to resipi jiaozi (chinese dumpling)..tapi sedap! and bile tanye Wear "oke ke tak?"..die tak jawab..just angguk2 sambil sengih..:D:D okelah kan? Next time gonna try to make Siew Mai plak! tuh memang my no.1 favorite!

OK peeps~ Chiao~
